The idea of writing a boss theme got into my head and wouldn't go away. I really wanted to write one 'cos I love boss themes. I also found this REALLY hard to do. I must have listened to three dozen different boss themes for inspiration before I finally made some progress. Even then, I had to cannibalise part of a piece I wrote some years ago that I thought could really work with a bit of a change-up.
