Gemclod Adventures is a special ready-for-adventuring save of Gemclod that has the fortress preserved in exactly the same state in which it was left when everybody died. That's right! The items are not scattered, and everything is on its proper place... including corpses.

Travel to Gemclod, experience the apocalyptic destruction first-hand, try to steal gems from the flooded checkerboard-room, observe the rows of demon-dust covered barrels in the food stockpiles, stumble on heaps of bones on the very spots where brave champions such as Charlie72 were killed.

Gemclod Adventures!

EDIT:
And here's challenge no. 1: Without looking at the map beforehand, get inside and open the front gate.
(Hint: As Vox said, bring swimming)

I tried a reclaim of the fortress myself, and managed to complete the construction of the mythical Stairway to Heaven Hell.

Behind the fortress, there is an empty dried-out pond, which has a stairway downward, which leads to that most unspeakable of places.

You're all welcome to try to make it all the way down to the bottom, and hopefully retrieve the corpse of Jazzimus (as well as all of the valuable weapons and armor he had once carried) from the inky slade stone floor of Hell itself.

As for me, I was never even able to reach the dried-out pond before being torn to bits, the second and subsequent times I played Adventure Mode.

So... good luck!

My adventurer actually survived opening the lava door. I'm almost a little disappointed; it seems out of character for the game to not murder you for that kind of bad planning. What made it more insidious was the carpeting of stones in the lava room, making it actually impossible to tell at a glance that it was filled with magma.
Sorry it's big, but the pencil tool just looks like crap after scaling down.
